which
uses
cutting-edge
technology

The
secret
behind
the
Dorado
is
that
it
stores
reserve
power
which
is
available
constantly,
to
support
sudden
and
short
spikes
of
loads
with
high
inrush
currents,
typically
during
high
dynamic
excursions,
and
intensive
low
frequency
sounds.
After
the
output
has
reached
its
steady
state
set
value,
user
adjustable
via
a
switch
to
12Volts
or
15Volts,
the
Dorado
can
support
surge
loads
with
a
higher
short-term
power
demand
that
are
several
times
the
maximum
rated
load
of
the
mains
connected
AC/DC
source
that
powers
the
Dorado.
The
power
boost
is
available
repetitively,

IMPORTANT NOTE
When
using
the
Dorado
from
new,
or
when
it
has
not
been
used
for
several
days,
it
can
take
anything
up
to
40
minutes
before
the
green
LED
comes
ON
in
the
15V
position.
Early
adopters
of
the
Dorado
have
found
out
that
putting
the
Dorado
in
the
12Volt
position,
and
then
flciking
over
to
15V
when
the
LED
comes
ON
in
the
12Volt
position,
the
15V
LED
comes on quicker.
FIRMWARE OPTION
The
Dorado
audio
enhancing
ability
has
allowed
us
to
hear
musical
details
that
were
previously
hidden.
This
in
turn
has
allowed
us
to
further
develop
the
Firmware
sound
signatures
mode
options,
and
match
them
against
the
audio enhancing features of the Dorado.
A

specific
firmware
is
available
as

optional
item
for
the
Caiman
SEG

MKII
